Since this blog has become so large (over 300 posts) and so many new people surf into it every day, I thought it might be helpful to put this introductory post permanently “at the top” so you might get better use and fun out of what’s here.
My primary business is being “a speaker.” More info is here.
I am also a publisher of the plays and books I have written.
The plays (comedies) are for symphony orchestras to do on their educational, family, and pops/gala concerts. They are regularly performed all over the world, and you can read more about them here.
And then there are the books:
Real Men Don’t Rehearse is a fun little memoir of my “playing days” with the Boston Pops. I also wrote Principles of Applied Stupidity. My talks are based primarily on these books.
You can see lots more info, and buy my books directly from me, through my bookstore. (They are not sold in stores.) You can also get them on Amazon, but I love it when folks buy direct.
While this blog is supposed to be promoting my speaking and publications, sometimes (well actually most of the time) I will write a post just because I feel like it. On the right column you will see some of my better/ more popular efforts. Some are humourous, and others are . . . slightly less humorous.
Any questions, comments, or issues, please feel free to drop me a note, and please do remember to recommend me to your favorite local meeting planner!
Thanks for visiting!
