Well as promised here is an ongoing update on promoting my event in lowell this coming Oct 7th (2010).
So far the efforts to get a radio interview or a feature article in the local papers have come to naught, however,
Some surprise help has popped up here and there. Once I listed the event in the Boston.com, the magic of the interent took over. It was automatically listed in lowellsun.com, that paper's events calendar, and it popped up in another blog for free events in lowell.
also not sure how i managed it but I found another arts calendar– (COOL – Cultural Organization of Lowell) which is going to list the event as well.
Also handy, I got another article published in AdvisorPerspectives.com and they did some nice linking to promote the event.
So at this point I need to sit and recoup and focus on the show itself. Hope to see you there. best, justin
