"'Peter VS. the Wolf' is the liveliest introduction to orchestral instruments I've ever heard."

Hello, and welcome to the Peter VS. the Wolf webpage!

Peter VS. the Wolf is the SEQUEL to Peter and the Wolf.

In this new story, the Wolf gets his day in court! The original Prokofiev music is presented as evidence of a clear case of "duckicide, in the first degree, with one gulp." But the Wolf puts on a brilliant legal defense. He calls the individual musicians to the stand and cross-examines them-- teaching us a lot about the instruments in the process!

This piece has been a consistent hit for the past fifteen years, in concerts given all over the USA-- by orchestras of every size, from high school ensembles to major symphonies. It was recently given its European and South American premieres! It is the perfect piece to do on your next family/educational concert, and can be done on pops programs for adults as well! The humor appeals to audiences of all ages.
